Facilities and Equipment

We offer computer-assisted refractions for more accurate prescriptions. Our visual fields analyzer can reveal abnormal blind spots in your vision and is helpful in detecting many eye conditions including glaucoma and even some neurological disorders.

We now offer a new device called the QuantifEye light response test that can assess your risk of developing macular degeneration, a disease that causes central vision loss.  It analyzes vitamin and healthy pigment levels in the eye and determines if they are adequate.  Good candidates for this test include patients with the following risk factors:  family history of macular degeneration or cataract, obesity, smoker, poor nutrition, fair complexion, female.  Recent studies are linking healthy macular pigment levels to reduced glare, lightsensitivity, and difficulty in low lighting conditions.  The cost for this screening test is $20.

In our optical, we carry hundreds of designer frames including Modo, Kate Spade, Giorgio Armani, Gotti, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Zero G, OGI, Silhouette, Ray Ban, specialty sports goggles and more.

We participate with VSP and

Regence Blueshield, Aetna, Cigna, EyeMed ACCESS plans, First Choice, Uniform, Premera Blue Cross, among others. Members of the Seattle Art Museum will receive an additional 10% off prescription glasses and all sunglasses.
